Title: Ruby Strawberry Sauce

Yield: 1 Servings

1ptFresh, ripe strawberries washed, hulled
2cSugar (or to taste)
2tsCornstarch
1/2cWater

Slice half of the strawberries and set aside. Mash the remaining strawberries in a small bowl.

Mix sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan; stir in the water and the mashed strawberries. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils for three minutes. Strain into a medium bowl. Fold in the sliced strawberries.

Serve warm or cold over cake, ice cream or pudding.
